Viña Santa Rita excells in Descorchados 2018

Descorchados, one of the most complete wine guides written by the prestigious Chilean journalist Patricio Tapia, highlighted Viña Santa Rita with excellent scores in its 2018 version.

Floresta Carmenere 2017 obtained 96 points and was chosen “The Best Carmenere”, “The Best Wine from Apalta” and “Revelation Wine”. This wine from the Colchagua Valley (Apalta) is 100% Carmenere early harvested, aged 10 months in concrete tanks. In addition, Casa Real 2014 from the Maipo Valley obtained 95 points, while Floresta Field Blend White 2017 (a blend of Semillón, Sauvignon Vert, Moscatel, Torontel and Corinto), Pehuén 2014 and Floresta Sauvignon Blanc 2017 all were awarded 94 points.

Santa Rita also featured high scores with its wines:

- Medalla Real Gran Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2017 – 93 points
- Medalla Real Gran Reserva Chardonnay 2017 – 92 points
- Medalla Real Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 – 92 points
- Medalla Real Gran Reserva Carmenere 2015 – 91 points
- Triple C 2014 – 90 points
- Medalla Real Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2017 – 89 points
- 120 Reserva Especial Sauvignon Blanc 2017 – 87 points
- Santa Rita Limited Release Rosé 2017 – 87 points

The results obtained in Descorchados 2018 confirm the effort and dedication of Santa Rita to produce high quality wines that are faithful representatives of the terroirs of Chile.
