Wine Enthusiast names Casa Real Reserva Especial the best chilean wine of the 2011 vintage
The US publication’s list of the best Chilean wines for the 2010–2015 vintages also highlighted the 2014 Carmen Gran Reserva Carmenere.

Santa Rita Casa RealThe latest edition of Wine Enthusiast magazine (USA) published a ranking of the best Chilean wines from the 2010–2015 vintages. Two wines from Santa Rita Estates appeared on the list, the 2011 Casa Real Reserva Especial and the 2014 Carmen Gran Reserva Carmenere.

The former hails which from the Maipo Valley, was awarded 93 points and named the Best of 2011, citing its “Aromas of cedar, spice and berry fruits are stylish. This perennially superb Cabernet is focused and balanced, with flavors of spicy red currant and briary berry fruits. Drink through 2026.”

The Carmen Gran Reserva Carmenere, from the Colchagua Valley, took second place among the wines of the 2014 vintage with 90 points.
