Winemaker's comments

A wine with intense violet color. The predominating aromas of red fruits such as plums, cherries, and raspberries, along with black currants and blackberries are complemented by very elegant and subtle notes of violets, vanilla, cloves, and a touch of cocoa. The lush palate is fresh and juicy with good depth and soft, ripe tannins.

Vinification

The different varieties are picked and fermented separately to achieve their maximum potential. Great care is taken in the cellar to maintain the quality achieved in the vineyards. Fermentation temperatures are kept low and macerations are prolonged. Once fermentation is complete the varieties are blended and placed in contact with oak to increase complexity and heighten the fruity characteristics.

Suggested food

A great choice for sharing a glass with friends for its balance and freshness. It is also ideal with red meats, pork with creamy sauces, pastas, and semi-ripe cheeses.
