Winemaker's comments

In our 120 Chardonnay we combine grapes from different vineyards from the central zone in order to attain a fruity, elegant wine, in the coastal zone with a stronger Pacific Ocean influence, we attain freshness and citric combinations, the pre-Andean area brings tropical fruits and sweetness providing an amber-colored wine with greenish overtones, well balanced, refreshing and round.

Vinification

Grapes are harvested and full clusters are directly de-stemmed and crushed or pressed, both techniques are used in different proportions, both are exposed to cold to reduce temperatures to 10°C, under these conditions, different qualities of free-run juice are pressed separately which will later be used in different styles and wine categories. Free-run juices are statically decanted for 12 to 36 hours and later, the clear juice is racked and inoculated to ferment at temperatures between 13 and 16 °C. At the final combination, wood is used for depth and aromatic complexity. Once fermentation has concluded they are separated from lees and sulfites for further mixture.

Comments: Bright straw. Lemon, honeydew, anise and smoke on the nose. Firm, dry and focused, with tangy citrus fruit flavors gaining sweetness with air. Slightly ungiving on the finish, which leaves a sweet citrus note behind.

Comments: "this is a nice little Chardonnay for hose fastened to the grape. It starts with ripe pineapple and apple aromas, and next you get tropical fruit, citrus and banana flavors. Medium in size and good for what it strives to be."
