Tres Medallas

    • Winemaker's comments:

Intense ruby-red wine with a deep violet hue. Black fruits such as plums and blackberries predominate on the nose along with subtle spicy notes and vanilla from its contact with French and American oak. The palate is big and voluminous while maintaining its fruity notes. The tannins are soft and round, and the finish is very long and persistent.

    • Vinification:

The grapes are harvested in accordance with strict monitoring for ripeness and tasting the berries prior to harvest. Once picked, the grapes are transported to the cellar, destemmed, very gently crushed by rollers, and deposited directly to the fermentation tank. During fermentation, the must is controlled daily and temperatures are maintained at 25º–28°C. Once the different lots have been blended, the new wine is aged with French and American oak in stainless steel tanks and then bottled.
