As for wineries, Santa Rita has five production plants. The main one is in Alto Jahuel, Buin, and has high-technology wine-making equipment, modern bottling lines and vessels for aging 19.5 million liters of fine wines.

In los Lirios, Rancagua, there is a winery with vessels for the storage of 32.5 million liters and a plant with equipment for wine-making and packaging of table wines.

In Pirhuin, Lontué, The winery has a plant with equipment dedicated exclusively to the production of fine wines and vessels for aging with capacity of 9 million liters.

In Palmilla, Colchagua province, Santa Rita has a modern winery with wine-making equipment and vessels for aging 19.5 million liters.

In Río Claro, Talca province, Santa Rita has a modern winery with wine-making equipment and vessels for aging 10.5 million liters.

In the wineries for aging, as such, barrels made of French and American oak are used in which the wine acquires complexity and body with a woody taste and a smooth and delicate aroma. One of the oldest wineries for aging wine is to be found in Alto Jahuel (Buin). There, in a cellar, the winery’s best wines such as Casa Real and Medalla Real Cabernet Sauvignon are aged. This winery, which has been declared a national monument, was built of stone and mortar by French architects.
