This top wine was showcased at two of the most influential events in the wine industry: James Suckling Great Wines of the World and Vinous Icons, marking its debut at the latter.

From February 27 to March 2, Casa Real Reserva Especial 2021 stood out as one of the world’s top wines during its participation in these key gatherings, which brought together esteemed winemakers, distributors, and prominent figures from the industry.

Great Wines of the World 2025 brought together distinguished producers and wine enthusiasts at its San Francisco and Miami editions, where the Alto Jahuel icon was presented by Casa Real’s Commercial Director, Marie-Charlotte Fraysse, alongside the Santa Rita team, including Aaron Crespin, US Sales Director, and Cara Collins, Regional Sales Manager.

Over 130 wineries from around the world were part of this exclusive tasting event, which featured 248 wines selected for their exceptional scores in tastings conducted by renowned critic James Suckling. As one of the most prestigious global platforms, this event provided a unique opportunity to discover exceptional wines and engage with representatives from some of the world’s leading wineries.

At the same time, Sebastián Labbé, Chief Winemaker of Casa Real, participated in Vinous Icons Walk Around Tasting 2025, an exclusive event in New York organized by the esteemed Vinous magazine. This marked the first time that this top wine was featured at the U.S. fair, which brings together iconic wines from 120 regions worldwide, selected by critic Antonio Galloni and his team.

These two events further reinforce the international acclaim of Casa Real Reserva Especial 2021 as a benchmark in Chilean winemaking, underscoring its distinctive character and standing within the fine wine market.
