The Chilean winery stood out in the prestigious Top 100 Wines of Chile 2024 ranking, published by James Suckling, one of the most influential wine critics in the world. This edition, which evaluated over 1500 wines, highlights the most remarkable and exciting offerings from the Chilean wine industry, emphasizing their unique character and exceptional price-to-quality ratio.

Casa Real Reserva Especial 2021, the emblematic Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maipo Valley, ranked 33rd with 95 points. This wine is the result of a perfect combination: the exceptional terroir of Alto Jahuel, the nobility of its variety and a great oenological experience, come together to create a wine that is the pride of the national viticulture.

More than just a wine, it is a tribute to Viña Santa Rita’s historical heritage, symbolizing over 140 years of tradition, excellence, and legacy. The critic described it as a “luxurious and quite hedonistic” red, reinforcing its exceptional character and solidifying its place among Chile’s most prestigious wines.

Meanwhile, Floresta Field Blend Blanco 2022 ranked 38th with 94 points and was recognized as “a field blend with great price-quality ratio.” Reflecting the richness of the Apalta terroir, this wine combines varieties such as Semillón, Sauvignon Vert, Moscatel, Torontel, and Corinto, all of which are skillfully crafted with minimal intervention, honoring the tradition of Chilean winemaking.

With a red wine soul, it undergoes prolonged aging on skins, achieving vibrant acidity and a complexity that sets it apart. The vines, planted more than 80 years ago on the granite slopes of Apalta, benefit from the underground runoff of the surrounding hills, allowing for the full maturation of drought-sensitive varieties, highlighting its authenticity and respect for the terroir.
