Santa Rita is recognized as the winery with the greatest corporate social impact in Chile

14 de October de 2025

The index prepared by Bsponsor highlighted the company’s highly specialized strategy in the cultural and urban fields, which has positioned it among the leading players in the wine industry.

Viña Santa Rita was recognized as the winery with the greatest corporate social impact in the industry, according to the 2025 Corporate Social Impact Index prepared by BSponsor —a platform that measures and certifies the efficiency and impact of corporate resources dedicated to communities.

The study, based on the BFactor® methodology, evaluated more than 900 social and community initiatives developed by 75 major companies from 11 productive sectors in Chile. This methodology measures both the depth and the reach of social programs, considering variables such as context, duration, intensity, and real impact on the beneficiary communities.

Within the wine industry, Santa Rita positioned itself as an undisputed leader, standing out for its highly specialized strategy in the cultural and urban sphere, with a focus on the Metropolitan Region. This approach has enabled the winery to develop a unique social impact model within the industry, consistent with its long-standing commitment to territorial heritage, the promotion of Chile’s cultural legacy, and its role as a benchmark in social sustainability.

“(Its key differentiator has been its) unique niche strategy within the sector, leveraging its cultural heritage to generate impact (…) which has allowed it to position itself among the leading players in the industry,” states the report.

Among its main initiatives are Wine Day and Heritage Day, occasions in which the winery opens its doors free of charge to the community to share its history and legacy; the Museo Andino of the Claro Vial Foundation —with free admission— which safeguards a collection of more than 3,000 archaeological and ethnographic pieces representative of Chilean and Latin American heritage, serving as a meeting place for citizens and an educational space for school communities; and the Seasonal Concert Cycle of Claro Vial Foundation in partnership with Santa Rita, which for over a decade has promoted classical music and the appreciation of cultural heritage in a unique historical setting.

With more than 140 years of history, Viña Santa Rita thus reaffirms its commitment to local development and the creation of shared value, projecting a positive impact that transcends the world of wine.
